Your inheritance includes super-natural provision

3 Dec

So how do we get started living in supernatural provision?  Well, since you’ve asked, I’ve created a graphic that explains the transition that takes place on our journey toward living in the Law of Blessing.  This graphic also describes some of the pitfalls of not using wisdom on this journey.

Most of us start out with our vocation supplying our primary source of income.  And even though we may have some level of spiritual relationship with God, any ‘income’ derived from our spiritual ‘reality’ is fairly small to non-existent.  Our objective should be to move into a place where our spiritual life is vibrant and exercised enough that it begins to activate Heaven’s ‘supernatural’ supply… in other words, a supply that is greater than the effort, time and intellect that we’ve invested.

I describe supernatural provision like this:

If your income is only commensurate with the amount of time, effort and intellect that you’ve put in, then that is natural provision… which is simply living under the Law of Sowing and Reaping.  It goes like this: if I don’t sow… I don’t reap.  If I sow sparingly, I reap sparingly. Etc… Who’s in charge of this setup? I am, of course.

But if your provision measures significantly above the time, effort and intellect that you put in, then this is super-natural provision.  This level of provision is activated as we learn to devote ourselves to being about our Father’s business in the unique way that He’s made you and I.  At that point, I believe Heaven rallies to be our total Jehovah Jireh.  This is living in the Law of Blessing.

This is an overly simplified way of saying it:

If you put in a ‘dollars’ worth of time, effort and intellect… and unexpectedly, you get back more than ‘dollar’, then you are experiencing the increase of Heaven.

Provision Chart

Consider this graphic:

Notice the left side of the graphic. Initially, our primary provision is ‘sweat’ income… in other words, it comes solely from our vocation.  Very little provision comes from our spiritual impact or influence.  But as time passes and as we mature, we want those dynamics to switch so that more of our provision comes from our spiritual impact and less from our ‘sweat’.

Of course, our society has its version of this. It’s called a retirement plan.  But who wants to work their whole lifetime, by the “sweat of your brow” on a ‘rock-pile’ job, beating big rocks into little ones, just so we can have a few years of retirement.  Why not (as early as we can understand these principles) get serious about cultivating and maturing our unique spiritual identity until it is honed and invaluable in its respective place in society.  That way we get to do what we love to do all of our life and eventually we find ourselves living in the Law of Blessing rather than the Law of Sowing and Reaping.

For more of my posts on how to find and live within our unique identity, click here and here.

A common pitfall is that people get trigger happy when they see this possible route to supernatural provision.  They think they have enough faith to jettison everything and live by faith… or ‘walk on the water’, so to speak.  They don’t realize that their ‘leap of faith’ isn’t true Biblical faith at all.  It’s just naive hoping.  They haven’t built a ‘position of faith’ sufficient to support them.  Sadly, many people live their lives in such a way that they don’t actually need faith to live… as a result, they don’t have a history of faith.

Then, when a person tries to live beyond their level of faith, they inevitably face lean times of lack and want.  This will lead to a moment of reckoning.  Deut. 7:22 describes how this can happen; “I’ll not give you the promised land all at once lest the wild beasts overtake you.”  Some of the “wild beasts” of our day are; fear, bills, hunger, lack, etc.
Supernatural Provision book cover

So it’s really important to apply wisdom on this journey. But the reward of living outside of the ‘sweat’ zone, is so worth it!  And in the process, you get to do what you love to do… enjoy God and activate your true identity.  Now that sounds like living!  I’ve posted five practical steps here.

For more on this subject, check out my book Supernatural Provision.  To get a copy, click here or see me personally.  You’ll find priceless gems; insights, practical tips, and inspiring testimonies to launch you into your own life of living in Heaven’s super-natural provision.

Are you ready to live in your inheritance?

Testimony: Gold flake changes everything!

Stories to Inspire

One Friday night a few years ago, I was invited to host an ‘encounter God’ evening at a house of prayer in Madison, WI where Dave Gerry was the director.  I was given full liberty to do whatever the Lord inspired me to do.  So I decided to celebrate some of the signs that have occurred in our ministry.  We projected them up onto the large screen and I told each story.

Between stories, I invited us all to be as sincere and passionate as we could in a time of intimate devotion with Jesus.  We told Him how much we loved Him and how special He is to us.

The objective was to use the ‘signs’ to inspire and increase our love for Him.  It is our experience that more signs appear as we allow our hearts to become acutely ‘enflamed’ with love for Him.

Well, we had seen nothing by the end of meeting so we prayed for all those with physical ailments… body ministry style.  There were many pockets of prayer in the room.  And here’s where things get interesting…

Rufina, a 70-year-old widow from the Philippines, asked for prayer.  As she was being prayed for, she opened her hand and found a 1/8” rippled flake of ‘gold’ (I have no idea if it was real gold or not).

She showed it to those who were praying for her.  And as you might guess, everyone soon rallied around to view this phenomenon.

I had never met Rufina before, but I found out 1 1/2 years later that she was a cook at the local YWAM base and always longed to go on a mission’s trip, but had no finances.

Surprisingly and without any announcement from anyone, people spontaneously began to throw money at her feet… such that for about 5 or 6 feet around, the floor was littered with cash… a total of $485.

She was a ‘basket case’ over the whole experience. 🙂  Jesus’ surpassing goodness broke through again – amazing all of us.  Each time she shared about it the following week she was overcome with gratefulness, wonder and tears at the goodness of God to ‘visit’ her in such a way.  But so far we’ve not even come to the best part.

A year and a half later I met her in a conference.  I exclaimed, “Rufina, how are you?  I’ve told your story many times.  Do you still have the gold flake?”  She immediately opened her Bible and I saw that it was taped next to the very verse we had rallied around when she got the flake.  But then she excitedly continued, “You have to hear what has happened since then!”

That evening, 1 1/2 years before, we had highlighted Isa 43:18-19 which states that “God is doing a new thing”.

“Forget the former things: do not dwell on the past.  I am doing a new thing!  Now it springs up: do you not perceive it?  I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.” – Isa 43:18-19

And that’s exactly what happened for Rufina!!!  That special token signified to her that He is doing and will do something new in her life.  So here’s the rest of the story…

After that night, money mysteriously began to come to her.  So much so, that she had enough to go to Africa and India on her first missions trip.  She preached her first sermon and people got saved.   She went to the next town, preached again and more people gave their hearts to the Lord.

Listen to the transformation that happened to her as she shares in her own words, “Now I just back from South Africa and India.  It just the boldness in my spirit to share the GOSPEL to everyone… which I never did this before.  I got the courage to speak to the Churches and Schools and prayed for the sick and visited hospital & prayed for them.  God’s heart with compassion to the people flows through me so much that I cried with them & begged them to understand that the only HOPE of life is found in JESUS CHRIST alone.”

Is that good… or what!?!

Back home, the money continued to come, so she traveled to the Philippines to see her own family and she led many of them to Jesus.  After she returned home, more money came to her and she was planning another trip to minister to her people.

And that is all good, but here’s the important part: She hasn’t asked for money!  (For more on this principle of living within Father’s provision read my book, entitled Supernatural Provision.)

As fun as that little gold flake was, it was not the main event!  Everything changed from that day… the spiritual atmosphere shifted for Rufina.  God truly began a “new thing” in her life. (Isa 43:18-19)  He created “a way in ‘her’ desert” and “streams” began to flood her “wasteland.”   Her dreams began to be realized… at 70 years old!  That gold flake was a sign from God which signaled a radical and change and launched her life in a completely new direction.

So do I love signs?  You better believe I do!  Do I love Jesus much more than signs?  Absolutely!  And guess what…?  Every time the signs appear, they help me fall more in love with Him.  And always, the signs serve to anchor my heart in more awareness of His loving care!

Thank you Lord, for You… and for Your signs!

SP True Stories: The case of the gold coins

12 Oct

A good friend gave me a couple $1 US gold colored coins many years ago.  They became to me, a significant tangible installment of a position of faith, not unlike Peter’s gold coin in the fish’s mouth.20161012_083724

Over the years I’ve purchased and given away 100s of ‘gold’ coins as a means of imparting faith in people’s hearts to believe for God’s full provision.  Earlier this year, someone gave me $1000 specifically to purchase 1000 more coins to give away to 1000 more people.  Think of it, God gives us more so that we can give more away.  Is that cool or what?!  He really loves to ‘dance’ with us.

Then a few months ago I gave 5 ‘gold’ coins to a friend and his family who were on a very intentional faith journey with God.  We prayed for them and prophesied over them and sent the on their way.  In the next few months God blessed them in many different ways, much more than they could have ever imagined.  In fact, at one point someone gave them 39 real gold coins.  Just recently, that friend sent me four of those real gold coins, valued about $250 US each.

What a deal!  You start out with God giving you two little coins… you catch the ‘vision’… then start giving away hundreds of these $1 gold colored coins… God blesses you with greater means to give away more… then He ups the stakes by giving you real gold!

He’s definitely better than we ever thought!!!

True stories of Supernatural Provision

Money just comes out of heaven…

My friend Noel was in Cape Town, South Africa with his brother and two friends in an upscale restaurant on the boardwalk overlooking the harbor and marina.  His three friends were quite financially ‘well to do’.  In the course of the conversation Noel told them, “When you live by supernatural provision, money just comes out of heaven.”  He could tell that they weren’t exactly impressed.

But within 3 or 4 minutes a business man, dressed in a full length trench coat and sun glasses, walked by on the boardwalk and stopped right in front of them with his eyes fixed on Noel. He took his glasses off and asked, “Are you Noel Alexander?”  Noel replied, “Yes.”  “Do you live in Kansas City, MO?”  Noel said, “Yes.”  The man said, “Many years ago I was in KC at a conference where you spoke and it blessed me immensely.  Just wanted to let you know.”  The man then turned and walked on.Money falls from the sky

Now what are the chances of finding someone who knows you in a strange city 12,000 miles from home?!  Noel’s friends asked, “Do you know that man?”  He replied, “Never met him that I know of.”

But just a few minutes later that same man returned and said, “I’d like to buy your lunch” as he handed Noel a 2” roll of bills to the amount of about 1500 Rand.  Then just as abruptly, he walked on.  Noel turned to his astonished brother and friends and said, “See, like I said, when you live by supernatural provision, money just comes out of heaven!”

I’m honored that Noel wrote a foreword for my book Supernatural Provision.  He and I have lots of fun sharing our supernatural provision stories with each other.  This following passage in Romans is just one of many Scriptures which inspires us to walk in the higher Law of Blessing… far above the law of sowing and reaping.

“Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt.  But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness,” – Rom 4:4-5

Process Toward Maturity – Living In Our Inheritance

9 Feb

I’m frequently asked by sincere and eager people how to get started in this life of walking by faith… because even though the mystique and intrigue of this faith walk is quite attractive, it can be difficult to get traction on something that is so ethereal.

To walk in our inheritance, is shockingly simple… 1) become a son (generic, of course) and 2) learn to walk as sons unto our Father.  (which includes being humble enough to believe what He says about Himself… and about us)  Well, that was pretty simply stated, wasn’t it?  But this simply stated concept doesn’t always translate into a tidy ‘nuts and bolts’ definition and course of action.

So without trying to saddle us with another ‘law’ to keep, I’ve offered some steps to get started… something that I hope is ‘bite sized’ enough to begin meaningful and measurable forward movement.  This is not comprehensive, nor is it a one-size-fits-all.   So you may have to exercise some initiative to search the matter out for yourself.

I also get this comment regarding living in Father’s provision, “Mark, its easy for you because you have a ministry.”  So I quickly point out that I don’t receive a salary, don’t have a pulpit or church, don’t ‘cold-call for bookings’, don’t require honorariums, don’t send out fund raising letters, give all our product away, and try to happily serve everyone we’re with.  That’s not exactly conventional wisdom’s equation for success… nor is it even commonly acceptable wisdom in religious circles.  But even though it’s definitely a spiritual walk, I believe it involves some basic practical components in order to realize our inheritance.

After a little disbelief and further explanation, they follow with, “Ok, so how can I get started?”  I respond by saying it boils down to 1) living in Heaven’s favor… which is best facilitated by learning to 2) serve – God and His people.  Yep, S-E-R-V-E… this little word is more profound than anyone would expect, yet it’s so simple that many won’t take it seriously.  Even Jesus spoke of it quite strongly…

But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. – Matt 23:11

Some people comprehend easier if they can see the ‘big picture’…. in other words, how does what I do today fit into a long-term outcome?  So in order to visualize the dynamic of transformation that occurs as we engage in the process of maturing and aspiring to live in our inheritance, I’ve created an outline and graphic.

Provision Chart

Disclaimer:  Don’t take me wrong.  Serving can never earn sonship, right standing with God or security in the love of God! (Titus 3:5)  Serving expresses our love inspired response to God and our desire to grow up in Christ. (Eph 4:14-15)

For more on this journey into maturity, you may want to read my book Supernatural Provision, which conveys our Father’s desire to be Jehovah Jireh in all areas of our lives.  He’s a good Daddy and believe it or not, it is His “good pleasure to give you the kingdom” – Luke 12:32.

DPM Update – 2014 July

23 Jul

Dear Friends

Cross Creek Church Family camp
Deb and I spoke in a very rural retreat center located out in the woods on an inspirational scenic overlook bluff near Lebanon, MO.  These good folks are easy to love.

He-Man trip
Our 13th Annual He-Man Camping extravaganza gala starts tomorrow… Thurs through Sat (July 24-26).  It’s open to the whole family.  We’ll cook some pretty sumptuous culinary delights and ‘enter into rest’ while we re-create.  Remember, even God had to take a Sabbath rest… so that’s just what we’re gonna do, too.  Join us in southern MO if you’d like, on the Jack’s Forks River near Mt View, MO.

SD trip
We hung out with Dave and Ann Clark in San Diego a week ago.  What an great week with amazing cool God-times in churches, house churches, and the rooftop of a hotel in downtown SD… and lots of one-on-ones.
~Tues eve we had a great time of worship at City of Refuge administrated by David and Christine DeWitt.
~Wed eve was VERY over-the-top at Encinitas at Beach Chapel where Larry Peltier pastors… we’ll for sure be going back.
~Fri eve was a worship extravaganza (hosted by Dave and Ann Clark) where about 60 worshipers/leaders flowed together as one when then met on top of the St James Hotel… lots of freshness and freedom… cross pollination of many great worship mantels across the county.
~Sat eve was more than over-the-top in El Cajon at New Beginnings where Chris Leeper is leading his congregation into the more New Testament format found in I Cor 14:26.  Hadassah shared about her Daddy/daughter dance that she had with God the evening before on the hotel rooftop in downtown SD.  She had a ‘fever’… tears flowed as she relived the experience for us. That led to a ministry time for all who felt ‘orphaned’ and on their own.  Soon a most wonderful reconciliation occurred between a daddy and his daughter who was in her late teens.  Later they shared their story (with many happy tears by them and us) and then they actually danced together while the meeting continued. (wow… tender, tender, tender!!!!) And there is much more to the story… we may tell it soon… maybe even with pics.

Stay tuned for an ‘outside the walls’ outreach called ‘Love On San Diego’ in October.

MN Regional Leaders’ Roundtable
Barry Thompson organized a super-great 2-day ’roundtable’ with regional leaders in Tim Nelson’s bunkhouse in southern MN.  About 15 guys gathered for this overnight event.  Our topics; 1) grace, 2) the goodness of God, 3) our identity.  Realizing that we were all on a similar track made for lively interactive discussions.  We will definitely do this again!!

Supernatural Provision book
We’ve given away nearly 5000 copies of Supernatural Provision now.  Thank the Lord for His amazing provision enabling us to give them away.  We’ve been hugely blessed to hear the testimonies of transformation in people’s hearts and lives… literally complete life directions have been changed… and they found God to truly be the best Provider Daddy.  But we need to make a decision soon about the next publishing run.  Your prayer is appreciated.

Todd White video – on Job

Quote: Must live… and think… from another Kingdom

1 Sep

“Often times, we live under the kingdom we think most about.  We live under the power and reality of the kingdom which our heart and mind is anchored in.  Consider Mark 8:17 regarding the multiplication of food. Jesus said to His disciples, “Why do you reason that you have no bread?”  In other words, why is what you LACK, your starting place of reason?  When you’ve tasted of supernatural supply then you’ve lost the right to have a thought pattern that begins with what you don’t have… you’ve already been exposed to a kingdom where there is no lack of supply… ever.” – Bill Johnson

Quote: Jesus Wore The Crown of Thorns For You

23 May

“And the soldiers twisted a crown of thorns and put it on His head…” – John 19:2

If hard work is the formula for prosperity, then everyone who works hard should be prosperous.  But this is certainly not the case.  Many people who work very hard are still in lack!

I am not advocating laziness.  What I am saying is that working hard by the sweat of your brow is not how God’s provision comes.  In fact, if you have to work overtime all the time and are stressed out, you are probably operating under the curse.

What curse is that? It is this curse: “In the sweat of your face, you shall eat bread…” (Genesis 3:19).  And it refers to the stress, struggle and anxieties that come with working hard and yet producing little.  Now, work itself is not a curse since God gave Adam work before the fall—Adam was to tend the garden of Eden.  It was only after he sinned that the land was cursed and it brought forth thorns, and man had to toil to eat of it. (Genesis 3:17–18)

But praise God, Jesus wore the thorns on His head to show you that He has borne this curse for you and redeemed you from it.  He wore the crown of thorns so that you can work stress-free and yet have the results.  You don’t have to be worried and stressed out day and night like the people of the world just to get ahead in life.  Your heavenly Father can get you there without the worries and stress. (Matthew 6:31–33)

Beloved, every curse that was supposed to fall on your head fell on Jesus’ head, typified by the crown of thorns.  He wore the crown of thorns for you so that you can have peace of mind.  He wore the crown of thorns for you and took your curse so that you can wear the crown of glory and take His righteousness, and all the benefits of that righteousness!

Today, don’t labor and toil like the people of the world. Instead, expect to see the blessings of God come into your life without blood, sweat and tears because Jesus wore the crown of thorns for you!

Excerpt from SP book: Discovering Your Treasure

5 Jan

Let’s talk a little about how to discover your treasure. If it’s inside of you, how do you find it? For starters, ask yourself these prompts:

What experiences made you feel really alive?
• You couldn’t sleep for thinking about it the night before.
• You haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since.
• You refer to that experience as a high water mark in your life.
• If time, money, and fear weren’t an issue, what would you love to do the rest of your life?
• Have you ever experienced tears of joy over what you were doing?

What have you done that caused unusual response from people you influenced?
• People profusely expressed their gratitude to you.
• People told you how it transformed their lives.
• People told you how it adjusted a deep attitude or broke a stronghold.
• People offered you money or reciprocation of favor.

What is it that always seems to just work for you?
• People and things just come together uncannily.
• Money or practical issues come together when you do this.
• Unusual grace and freedom from difficulty make it easy.
• Your spirit, mind, and strength seem empowered beyond normal.

What comes up repetitively in prophecies over you wherever you go?
• No matter where you go, do you seem to get picked for a prophetic word?
• When you transcribe the words, do you find a familiar pattern emerging?
• Is it an activity? Is it a grace? Is it a skill? Is it a commission?

Do recurring dreams cause you to wake with unusual passion to live your dream?
• Have you written down your dreams? What pattern is emerging?
• What kind of setting? What kind of people group? What are you doing?
• Have you experimented with recreating this setting and doing this activity?

I imagine that something clicked for you in these prompts. Next, you’ll want to begin to purposefully experiment with this activity, skill, or service that came to mind to see if it gets easier and more effective as you exercise it. If it gets easier and more effective, and if you find it deeply fulfilling, then you’ll want to study it and pursue it with the same commitment as if you were going to college. This is quite likely your treasure. In the premise I’m presenting, this treasure will afford the best potential to inspire you and provide for you in life. Why? Because it is the treasure God placed in you, and He has a special plan for it. There is a void in this world that truly needs your specific treasure, and God will give you the grace to empower you to fulfill that void. Your treasure is designed to bring God glory by answering the problems of your world. And if you’re wondering where to apply your treasure, just look for the needs of others that are within the scope of your treasure. Many of your opportunities will be found in solving the needs of others.

You must find and comply with Heaven’s design for your treasure, because only in that connection with Heaven’s plan will you get the life source necessary to soar with this treasure. If we live pursuing our treasure our hearts will grow and we will thrive in life! (Excerpt from SP book)

DPM Update – 2012 December

Dear Friends

Exciting Newsflash!
Another momentous milestone in the Hendrickson family… Luke and Sarah Church are engaged to be married.  We all agree, Sarah is a great young lady who is quite easy to fall in love with… just ask Luke.  They’re planning an April wedding in Redding, CA. (See pic)

Philippine ‘Love Box’
Many of Cheryl’s relatives live in an extremely poor part of the Philippines and exist very meagerly on about $2 a day. On occasion we’ve sent money for special purposes; e.g. repairing a leaking metal roof, replacing a dirt floor with concrete and building a cook area and chimney so the concrete block house isn’t filled with smoke.  When the work was completed, we were very surprised to receive detailed receipts and a letter of heartfelt thanks.  On another occasion we sent a ‘Love box’ crammed full of helpful items; flip flops, hundreds of personal toiletries, writing tablets, coloring books, crayons, puzzles, toys, clothes, hats, coffee & creamer, canned meat, etc… We also added fun size Snickers bars, because when Cheryl was a little girl in the Philippines her family received a box from America.  In the midst of all the necessity gifts there were Snickers candy bars which were sliced into little slivers so everyone got a bite. Cheryl talks about the box smelling like ‘America’ and how special it was. We’ve heard of others receiving International gift boxes and experiencing the same thing. It’s been a huge blessing to us when we hear how impacting our gifts have been to them.

We are shipping two huge boxes in the next few days. If something stirs in your heart to help financially or you’d like to enclose something in this shipment, please let us know ASAP. We also like to enclose a picture of each family who participated which they proudly hang on a wall in their Spartan home.

Recent travels
            St Louis weekend
Last month Deb and I joined a St Peters house church one Friday evening and helped facilitate their desire to have “encounter” meetings.  This group is transitioning from a ‘seeker sensitive’ church to a more Spirit led experience.  It was a blast to create freedom and on-ramps for them to engage in giftings and body ministry beyond what they normally experience.  This dynamic is probably the most fulfilling thing we do at this time in our lives… unlocking people’s hearts to exercise their latent giftings.. and then watch them come ‘alive’ with delight in the discovery process.

That Sunday we revisited a church of great friends in Warrenton.  There was much grace to enlist many in the congregation to ‘active duty’… young and old, veterans and newbies. We even ‘drafted’ the worship team to sing and play prophetic songs over others in the auditorium.  Tears and laughter, fun and freedom were the order of the day.  In the course of one of the ministry times, 7 or 8 year old Kristin prophesied a Scripture over a first-time visitor… so touching and impacting to all of us.  We could do that every day… so liberating and satisfying to see God’s people functioning together.  It is I Cor 14:26 in action.
            Springfield, MO
Each month we try to join regional leaders who gather for purely relational purposes.  A great meal is provided by the host church and a very meaningful time of sharing and body ministry almost always follows.  I’ve probably said this before, but this group has the most organic and ‘unofficial’ rallying of leaders… most of them not related by denomination or network… just relationship.  Steve and Sally Wilson are the rally-ers of this gathering.  They pastor Dayspring Church, which in our opinion is one of the freshest things happening in the southern MO region.  In the last year or so, they’ve hosted three or four Bethel leaders and Randy Clark, with Todd White and Heidi Baker coming in the future.  All that to say, we’re very pleased to be associated with what God is doing there.

We’ve had several outstanding house churches in our home recently.  And of course, body life and body ministry is the order of the day when we gather.  I can’t think of anything too much better than watching Jesus’ people discover the gifts He’s put in them.  The delight and life they experience is obvious… what kind of joy do you think Jesus is experiencing?!  If you’d like to attend, let us know and we will email you when we have our irregularly scheduled meetings… all welcome.

Christmas
This year, we’re excited about having a full house of all our immediate family here in our home on Christmas Day.  The Hendrickson family hit a growth spurt this year with our two grandbabies, Aslan and Avalee, and Luke’s fiancé Sarah.  Yay!!!  Other extended family members will join us the day after Christmas.

One Thing Conf
As usual, downtown at the Bartle Hall, a major rally of around 20K hungry people will gather again from Dec 28-31 for IHOP’s annual One Thing Conference.  Free online registration here.   See you there.

Cool miracle
We committed to buy 5000 Supernatural Provision books from the Destiny Image Pub… in 1000 book allotments.  The strange thing is that each time we’ve needed to order another 1K books at about $5K per order, timely finances for that order show up from very unpredictable sources.

Cool story: About two months ago we received a $5100 direct deposit into our bank account from a royalties distribution company.  Now, we receive some royalties, but just a pittance each year.  This amount was over-the-top.  So I researched the matter and found that the royalties were for two songs… and we’d never heard of either one.  We tried for a month or so to inform the company of the mistake.  Last week, we received an email from the manager of the royalty department acknowledging the mispayment… and their correction of the computer error.  But here’s the good news… He informed us, “We have no policy for receiving erroneously paid monies so there’s no further response necessary on your part.  In addition, we have passed the time for 4th quarter distribution of royalty payments and so you will receive another payment for $611 later this month.  There is no response necessary for this matter, either.”

As you can imagine we were elated with this much needed but unexpected windfall, so Debbie responded with an email saying, “We are surprised and delighted with how you have resolved the matter.  Thank you!”   To which the manager responded, “I had a feeling you’d be happy about that ha-ha. Glad I could be the bearer of good news!”  Is that crazy cool or what!!!  How often does that happen?  Doesn’t that just sound like God?!  His creativity is so amazing!

So as long as our Good God keeps mysteriously providing for us to purchase the books, we’re having a blast giving them away for free (or when mailed – $5).   Ya just gotta love His ‘No Sweat Zone’ which is available for each of us!  He is for sure, the better-than-we-expected Jehovah Jireh!

God bless each of you with His over-the-top goodness this year end!!

Lotsa love

Mark and Debbie
